Don’t look now, but Christmas is fast approaching.  Before you know it we’ll be frantically buying and baking, wrapping and stuffing our way to merriment.  For many children, this is the most magical time of year.  For many, but not all.  For children born in poverty, Christmas is just another day of struggling to survive.  For children who’ve lost everything to war or natural disaster, Christmas has lost it’s spark.

That’s where Samaritan’s Purse comes in.

Samaritan’s Purse lends a hand to those in desperate need the whole world over.  They meet the physical and spirital needs of those who others may have passed by.  This includes delivering hope in the form of a shoebox…

Our mission:  This month, we’re called to link arms with Samaritan’s Purse – to help bring hope to the poor, the sick, and the suffering of the world.  We’ll be breaking ranks a bit in the fact that we have options: 1) Give the traditional monthly donation; 2)  Pack a shoebox!

Samaritan’s Purse earned a whopping four stars on Charity Navigator.  Click here  to check out the full report.   Visit Samaritan’s Purse to see what they’re up to and learn more about Operation Christmas Child, then get out there and …
