Thankfulness in plenty and in want

Thanksgiving

{my mum, whipping up some deliciousness}

I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday – a lovely weekend at the very least!  I know I did.  They were days filled with family and friends … laughter … memories … and copious amounts of food.  As my cousin says, “Nothing says thankfulness quite like gluttony.”  It sure seems true here.  I probably weigh a good ten pounds more than I did this time last week.  It was just so good …

But extra poundage or not, I was happy – thankful – content.

Maybe it was having an extra day to frolic.  Maybe it was the fact that I’ve been doing what I love. Or maybe it was simply the precarious place that currently is my life.  Perhaps the less you have, the more you’re thankful.  If so, I hope I’ve tucked the thankfulness deep within my heart – so especially in plenty, I’ll remember gratitude.

    You know I actually thought it was an old photo, the colors and feel are very vintage. It's lovely! How is your life, the book, everything??? Lets put a date on the calendar!!!
