In case you haven’t heard, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow. Personally I can’t believe it’s true. Spring must be right around the corner. Maybe the old fellow’s eyesight is getting dodgey. Or maybe it’s a cruel joke. I mean really, look at that face. He’s clearly annoyed. Maybe he figures if they are going to make such a spectacle of him, he’ll just go ahead and see his shadow. That’s right – a SHADOW! Take that you annoying folk – six more weeks of winter for you! Yeah, it can’t be easy being a famous whistle pig.

His track record isn't very good as he's only been right 40% of the time. I think you must be right. Personally, if someone rouses me out of my bed at the crack of dawn I'm not entirely too happy either, I'd certainly be out for a little revenge by way of 6 more weeks of winter.
