Well, there goes September. As it stands now, I’m afraid years from now, looking back, 2011 will be little more than a shadow–mere whisps, vague outlines of this and that–nothing concrete. Perhaps I best be a bit more intent on making the year stand for something; making the most of autumn seems a good place to start.
Speaking of which, Relyn is hosting her annual Autumn Celebration Swap. Unlike other bloggers who simply throw partners together, Relyn takes the time to get to know each and every one, then pairs accordingly. Oh, and a book is involved, so there’s that. You can check out the details, here; but do hurry–Sunday’s the last day to sign-up.
Now, onto the weekend. Being the first of October and all, I wish you all that is right and good about this time of year: long walks, rich colors, the laughter of friends, the intrigue of a good book, baked delights, steaming beverages, and at least a moment or two snuggled up in sweet solitude.
… a happy weekend–and October–to you!
