Le Temps Perdu

What is with me and French post titles? Ah well, c’est la vie . . .

I imagine part of it stems from the fact that, given the choice, I will lean toward the romantic, every time. I’m quite hopeless that way. No doubt that’s why I love stories as I do. They allow for time travel; for a moment, you’re transported to another place, another time. And you’re free to return any time you wish–back to  modern conveniences and that which you know to be true.

Perhaps that’s why I love me a bit of Steampunk, too. It connects both worlds–the real and the fantastical–reminding us of all that could be. . .

So tell me, if you could take a holiday to another time, when would it be?

Oh man, I am crazy about steampunk too! Can I be transported to Howl's Moving Castle time… whenever that is?
