Ooh-la-la!

Dearest friend,

Yesterday, my to-do list  got a bit unruly, so I did the only rational thing for a girl in my predicament to do . . . I began the day with a bubble bath.

To think, a bubble bath–in the morning! It’s positively decadent.

I’m happy to report I still managed to stay on task–albeit, I didn’t manage a post. So yes, I abandoned you in favor of lounging in a tub full of bubbles. Sure, I may seem a horrid friend, but think of it more as field work. I can now tell you, with utter confidence, that doing something completely out of the ordinary–just for you–is positively delightful!

You simply must.

It’s my weekend wish for you.

Wherever your days take you, whatever you must do, I hope you’ll find a little time to do something for you, and no one else–raise a glass, lock yourself in a room with a good book, eat bonbons and watch your favorite show, have breakfast for dinner, take a bubble bath in the morning. Treat yourself.

It may seem a bit selfish, extravagant even–but chances are good, you’ll have all the more to give, if you do . . .

Cheers,

amy

Amy, yesterday I watched three episodes of Lark Rise to Candleford – the show is so utterly cute. I wish they hadn't canceled it but thank you for the recommendation

Aren\’t they just? I\’m so glad you like them; I do believe the second series is my favorite. Although, part of the problem now is I know they\’re drawing to a close. :)
