Lucky me, lucky you

My luck, apparently, has left for spring break. My whole week’s been off: I tried to get into the parking garage with a wee window squeegee; returning from the copier, I rushed into the cube of another–while she was in, naturally; and I had a typo in the Subject line of my first group email.

Just to name a few.

Oh, and that email? I received a response not five seconds after clicking send, alerting me to the fact that “Advance” has a “d.” What? Are you kidding me? I could have sworn advance was spelled avance. Big words like that are so confusing!

Needless to say, I’ve never been so happy to see Friday–Friday that heads into celebration, no less!

Speaking of which, any big plans for St. Patty’s Day?

I plan to slow cook my corned beef and cabbage and savor a fresh loaf of soda bread. It’s gonna be a good day.

With that, I leave you with an old Irish blessing . . .

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!

  1. Ugh, my week has been similar, I had to respond to two negative reviews of my patterns that I sell, one person even admitted to printing it incorrectly but still gave me a scathing review and told the world she "HATED" the pattern. I want to crawl into my bed and leave mean people to be mean to each other. 🙂

Ugh, is right! I'm sorry for ya . . it's hard not to take such things personal. And yet I always wonder about those people who change things, or do something wrong and then write a negative review. Are you kidding me?!
