Puddle jump it

{How cute are these wee vintage boots from Sugar and Chai Vintage?}

Finally, it’s really, truly Friday. It’s been one of those weeks, you know . . . Monday I thought it was Tuesday, Tuesday Wednesday, and so on. Not that it will be a restful weekend, mind you. It seems the weekend to be planning (or attending, as the case may be) parties of all sorts and varieties. Fun, but makes me tired all the same.

Of course, they’re saying the rain clouds should be moving on–personally, I’m hoping they’ll stay a bit longer. Maybe I’ll get in some good puddle jumping. Nothing like it for relieving a little stress (so long as you don’t wear your good shoes).

I’m also hoping to sneak in a bit of baking. After a long summer’s wait to turn on the oven, the possibilities make me giddy.

Speaking of which, I tried this crusted salmon with honey-mustard sauce–it was so good. And ridiculously easy. So, if you’re needing something for dinner tonight, there you have it. No need to thank me, that’s just what friends are for.

With that, I wish you a weekend light on stress, heavy on deliciousness . . .

Happy weekend, to you!

      It was the best crusted salmon I've tried–and so very easy. And you know me, I'm all about easy . . .that sounds kinda bad, but you know what I mean. 🙂
