It’s finally arrived… Autumn. Sigh.
Any big plans to ring in the new season? If so, do tell. If non, you still have time.
After all, our Fall Extravaganza happened quite by accident. A friend, upon hearing how my mom and I loved fall, mentioned she loved it too. So we planned to meet for dinner … my mom came bearing gifts {acorn votive holders}. And now we have an annual tradition–dinner with a fallish menu, gifts with a fallish flare, and friends who love the fallish air.
And because of such celebration, today, as I pull out colors of gold, pumpkin, and plum, I’ll pull out memories as well.
It’s the perfect way to greet the autumn season.
So without further ado, happy first day of autumn my friends–may it be grand!
How fun!! I wish I had a fall extravaganza!! But I think I'm the only one in my family that's stoked about the change in seasons. The fact that my birthday is in a few weeks has absolutely nothing to do with my love for the fall ;o)
You must have a fall extravaganza … gear up for your birthday and all! Next year–grab a friend … or a complete stranger … and party away! 🙂

Me, too. Me, too. I do love autumn. I am always especially excited when the first day falls on my birthday. Isn't that terrific?
A birthday on the first day of autumn? That may very well be more excitement than I could stand!!!
Fall is the best, I celebrated by getting out (and wearing) my fall shoes! 🙂
HOORAY for fall shoes!
