Happy {insert holiday here}

It’s Columbus Day, you know … the little holiday only Federal employees have reason to celebrate. Not to mention, there are those who get positively hostile with the mere mention of his name. I mean really, the guy’s been dead for over 500 years; it’s time to move on … and maybe get some therapy.

Still, even if you shun the celebrating of Columbus there are other options; you could:

**Have a party in honor of my cousins–Cody and Blake–who happen to share their birthdays with the tuxedo;

**Eat Angel food cake {in honor of National Angel Food Cake Day, naturally};

**Play hooky for World Mental Health day;

**Join Canada and be thankful.

Or go gun-ho: Play hooky to have yourself a little party, where you’ll proceed to be thankful for handsome men in tuxedos, each copious amounts of angel food cake, and otherwise frolic in the United States of America.

See? So many reasons to celebrate! With that a happy Monday toΒ  you …
