Well now, wasn’t I just the worst blogger ever, last week. In my defense, I’d just like to say it wasn’t all fun and frivolity. There was a considerable amount of work thrown in there, too–though, I must admit, even that was kinda fun.
So yes, fine, last week was an official party week.
And I can’t think of a better way to end such a week, than the grand opening of The Soda Works. Tucked away in a little strip mall off State Street, it may easily be missed if you’re driving too quickly, or not paying attention–and that would be a pity, because it’s chocked full of fanciful delights.
As you may have gathered from the name, The Soda Works carries sodas–over 90 flavors, from independent bottlers, modern to vintage. If you’re a design buff, it’s worth the trip just to check out all the labels and colors.
That’s not all, my friends–oh no, it’s not. After all, what would a soda be without it’s good pal, snack food?! And we’re not talking just any snack food–they’re snacks sure to get the party started. Rice chips, “Cajun Dill Gator-Tators,” chocolate-covered licorice . . . the list goes on and on.
With something for everyone, the possibilities are endless.
So thank your lucky stars, because a little trip to The Soda Works, is sure to make your themed parties, holiday gift baskets, and New Years celebrations merry and bright!
