As you may have guessed from the radio silence, I was a complete and total flake last week. If it had nothing to do with visiting family and friends, eating copious amounts of food, drinking festive libations, and otherwise keeping cool, I had nothing to do with it. But really, we had a holiday mid-week. What more can you expect? I dare say, not a thing. Of course, such fun and frivolity has left me with a holiday hangover—and on a day when I’m expected to catch-up, no less.
I’ll get right on that, naturally.
But first, a bit of chalk art. Let’s have ourselves a little stroll in the cool of the morning; let’s sip frosted beverages while perusing the artwork at our feet—snapping photos and pointing out favorites (mine is the flying pigs, by the way). Surely, if we but take a moment to ignore the pile of work and 100+ temps looming before us, we’ll be able to meet them both with great aplomb . . .
