Lest you miss out, today is Moon Day–time set aside to commemorate the day man first walked on the moon.
It was a pretty big deal.
So let’s have ourselves a wee fete, shall we? Let’s feast upon MoonPies and play games with the moon (or at least look as though we are, in photos); let’s sing Blue Moon while drinking Blue Moon (unless you’re under age, in which case you can whip up a delightful concoction using Prairie Moon beverage syrup). Let’s laugh and otherwise frolic amid moonbeams.
And no matter how you choose to celebrate, may the wonder of it all carry you right through the weekend. In that, I can think of no better wish than to echo Les Brown, “Shoot for the moon, even if you miss you’ll land among the stars . . . ”
. . . glad weekend tidings to you, my friends!
