My weekend held a little yard work, a few errands, plenty of time soaking in the rays with family and friends–you know, the usual shenanigans for the month of June. Here are a few random particulars . . .
Home sweet home. I brought in the first bouquet of the season. Nothing like fresh flowers to make a house a home–and nothing like being able to meander out to your own backyard to ‘shop.’ You know, being a pasty-white autumn person, I don’t really love the heat. So yes, I plant flowers and vegetables in my garden, not so much to be green, but to make counting down the days ’til fall a little more colorful, a little more tasty.
Enough Miss Bossy Pants. You may have noticed there was nothing to do today. When I first started this little project, it was to get out of a rut. Well, since I don’t read my own blog, I’ve done nary a suggestion–you? So, the more posts I added, the more I felt like I was just telling you what to do. Let’s face it, nobody likes a bossy pants. Not to say it won’t come back. I still love the concept. It just might need a little something more. If you really did enjoy the posts–do let me know.
Because I can’t help myself. OK, there’s another reason why I lopped off the “Today” posts–I’ve abandoned my book blog quite long enough–see what I mean? There it sits all sad and neglected. I can’t take it any longer. Must talk books. I’m just not sure how it’s all going to fit together, time-wise; who knows how I’ll post until I get my groove. If you can’t find me here, you may find me there. Or, you know, I may simply be a complete flake and not post anywhere. There’s really no way of knowing. What I do know is I’m excited to get started! We’ve got big plans, my friends and I. So do stay tuned . . .
Hooray for the revival of the book blog! You should tweet about it too, if you don't already
