Summertime adventure

I’m heading on a wee road trip this weekend. Invitably, that means I’m also searching for a fabulous leather bag. It’s kind of a thing.

Of course, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to outdo this one from Waltzing Matilda . . . 

Can you even?

Waltzing Matilda is slang, you know, for traveling by foot with one’s goods slung over the back. In a Matilda (swagman’s bundle), naturally. It’s perfect for a company that makes makes adventure-ready bags. I can’t wait to have one of my own.

In the meantime, I’ll be stuffing my goods in whatever happens to be close at hand.  

With that, I wish you adventure all your own in the coming days–a wide open road under a sky of blue during the day and a canopy of stars at night . . . a little time to kick back and relax, and a bit of exploration too . . . a few snapshots, and a pockful of memories.
