Just thinking of the weekend makes me tired. There were meetings and parties, work days and errands. So many things to get done in so few hours—I almost abandoned the idea of a trip to the park. After all, meandering through a park to snap a few photos could only mean something was going to get left undone.
Pretty sure it was worth it.
Seems a good deal of the leaves had already bid their branches adieu. Had I waited much longer, I would have missed their festive display.
Also, I feel compelled to tell you: I do not know that couple in the last photo. Total creeper, it’s true! Be it known, however, I was on the path (and not, you know, hiding in the bushes, as it might appear). And while you may not see them, there were other people milling about. Besides, I had no choice—that couple seemed the perfect illustration of what makes autumn great—kicking back and enjoying the beauty, with those you love most of all . . .
Hah, I love your creeper photo. I was at the park this weekend as well – the fall colours are finally arriving
