I awoke at 1 a.m. Wednesday morning to a spotlight shining through my bedroom window. What in the world is going on? I thought, only to realize it was simply the snow. The brightest and whitest of snows!
It’s since turned to slush, mind you. A co-worker was bemoaning the fact that her son was splashing in all the puddles. I told her it’s great stress relief. She looked dubious. Another co-worker mentioned his meeting in Wisconsin where it was –35 degrees F. Did you try blowing bubbles?! I asked. He looked as though I had lost my mind. But seriously, there’s got to be some perk to frigid winter conditions.
Needless to say, I’m perfectly content with the snow staying in the mountains. After all, this latest round of storms has washed us right out of the drought we were in last week. So we’re good here, thank you.
Not to mention, a bright, sunny weekend sounds good to me. But I’ll take a cloudy weekend as well . . . so long as I have a couple days with which to frolic.
With that, I wish you fun filled days ahead . . .
Good weekend wishes to you, dear friends!
